LABOR STRIKES

The right to strike is fundamentally important. It is the result of a sometimes painful struggle for socio-economic justice. Even nowadays, it cannot be taken for granted in many regions and whenever desired. However, it is not necessarily exerted as appropriately and wisely as it should be with respect to its weight and seriousness. Especially, in countries with relatively high social standards the practice of unions may raise doubts.

"Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak, courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen."

Winston ChurchiWinston Churchill
